Keishi’s are Hot

We’ve posted several different types of center drilled Keishi pearls this summer and each one sells out faster than we can find the next batch.

Keishi pearls (Kashi, Keishe, Keshi)  are also called “cornflake pearls” because of the unusual shapes. Keishi pearls are formed when the mollusk ejects the pearl bead nucleus but continues to make a pearl. If you are looking for an “organic look” in your designs, Keishis are a great place to start!

You will find them in many different shapes and sizes and with different drill holes. As mentioned, center drilled are popular this year, but they are also available in side drilled, end drilled, and occasionally top drilled.
