The supply chain for beads is not the most reliable one around. Vendors tend to sell whatever they have and they don’t necessarily replace items consistently. Glass and gemstone beads are simply not always available in the same color, style, cut and so forth. Pearls are especially difficult to replace with identical lots.
Lately, our glass bead suppliers have been eliminating some of our most popular items. One of the areas we’ve been hardest hit has been our glass mixes. Our customers like our glass mixes because you can find a variety of beads, styles, and colors in a relatively inexpensive package.
We’ve been scrambling to find new sources for bead mixes. We just added couple of very nice mixes. Our new Czech Bead Mix in brown colors is pictured below. More to come as we are are able to find them!
