Wish List Survey Results

We had a good response to our Wish List Survey over the past couple of weeks. Thanks to all of you who participated! The winner of the drawing for the $100 Gift Certificate is Vanessa Finnie.

Overall, the results were about what we expected, but we always get a better insight when we take get actual data and feedback from our customers and prospects. We’ve summarized the results in the bulleted list below:

  • The top three items that most of you will be shopping for in the next 60 days are Sterling Silver Findings, Gemstone Beads, and Sterling Silver Beads.
  • Of the items you shop for, the most difficult items to find are Gemstone Beads. Feedback indicated that many of you like to touch and see gemstone beads before you buy, you have concerns about whether they are dyed or treated, you have concerns about size and color, and you want to buy beads with holes where they are supposed to be!
  • For those of you shopping for gemstone beads, it appears you will be looking for faceted rounds, smooth rounds and smaller pendants.
  • You asked us to add more unique gemstones (prehnite, apatite, bronzite, etc) and more traditional stones in unusual styles. And, many of you also asked for a wider selection of traditionally popular stones like rose quartz and amethyst.
  • Those who are shopping for glass beads are overwhelmingly looking for fire polish beads followed by pressed shapes.
  • Sterling Silver and Solid Copper Beads are overwhelmingly the most requested metal beads, but there are a lot of you also looking for charms this fall.
  • We’ll be looking for a lot of orders for Sterling Silver Findings this fall. Seems most everyone hasĀ  Sterling Clasps, Earring Findings and other misc findings on their wish list for the coming weeks.
  • Our question about which colors are going to be in turned out to be about as clear as mud. The results were dead even for brown, black, blue, and green. Other colors were almost the same except for pink. So, hold onto those Rose Quartz beads until spring!
  • Finally, it appears that the majority of respondents are planning to spend between $100 and $500 during the remainder of the year.

Again, thanks for your participation in our survey!
