What’s Hot? Center Drilled Keishi Pearls
We’ve seen a huge demand for center drilled Keishi Pearls this summer. We just added 4 more new colors along with a few other colors/styles of Keishi pearls. The ones pictured below are the “natural color” that mother nature intended. As you probably know, most freshwater pearls are dyed or treated in some way to achieve the wonderful variety of colors that are available. For those of you who prefer only “natural” products, these are about as good as it gets. The selection of natural colored freshwater pearls if very, very small.
That’s all the pearls for a while. We’re going to be shopping this week at the Denver Gem & Mineral Show to restock our depleted faceted gemstone inventory of rounds, rondelles, pendants, India silver and copper, and so forth. Next week, we’ll start the long process of adding those items back into our fall and winter collections.
For those of you who don’t make it to many gem shows, the Denver September show is actually a very large one. It occupies many different venues in town. Though it does not even compare to the Tucson show in February, it’s the next biggest show that we have found in terms of vendors and the amount of inventory that they bring with them. It’s really the last big chance to stock up on things we hand select before we hit the holiday season. So, expect lots of restocked best sellers along with many new items. We learned from our recent survey that you want more unusual stones and styles of gemstones, so that’s what we’ll be looking for!
