Summer Update
We’ve been extremely busy this summer and have neglected DailyBeadBuzz.com more than usual. We’ll try and be better over the coming weeks.
Our vacation to Kauai was relaxing, but brutal on the work projects. We’ve been working on a revision to the look and feel of abeadstore.com as well as improved search and navigation. We finally have some progress in that area with a goal of being up and running in mid-August.
We’ve also added a TON of new products. Our new Designer Findings are going over very well, and we just added about 10 more styles. We’ve got another shipment due in any week. Check out the picture of our new Figure 8 Pearl Shortener below.
Our new Preciosa Round Crystals are now available for sale. You’ll find most of the colors (not all) that were available in bicones in 4mm and 6mm. There are also a few of the most popular colors available in 8mm. We’ve been amazed at the demand for those beautiful crystals. We were not sure what to expect when we made the decision to add Preciosa instead of Swarovski, but now we know we made a good decision. We can sell them at such a lower price that most vendors can sell Swarovski for that it’s a huge advantage in the marketplace. We hope you are able to make better margins yourself on the items you make as a result.
Also, for those of you who shop at Amazon, we now have a store there! Search for abeadstore on Amazon.com and you’ll find many of our beads, pearls, and findings. You can buy directly from Amazon and use your 1-click checkout if you prefer to shop there. No discounts or coupons, so it’s probably not a venue most existing customers will shop in, but, we are always surprised by what our customers do. Our main goal is to reach incremental customers who would not find our online stores.
